ファッション、コマーシャルのフィールドで活躍するフリーカメラマン、皆川聡（Satoshi Minakawa)氏の写真展（2020年開催を予定）の開催を記念し出版された「Tokyo Legs」。女性の脚というパーツをいろいろな視点で切り取ることでエロティズムに偏り過ぎないギリギリのラインで女性の美を表現しています。
当店オリジナルの出版ブランド”NICK WHITE Publishing（ニック・ホワイト パブリッシング）”発刊第1弾となる写真集です。

皆川 聡
東京都生まれ。
1990年に渡米、The Art Institute of Colorado写真学科を卒業。
フリーのアシスタントとして、写真家Norbert SchoernerやStefan Ruizの撮影サポートを経験。
1999年にフリーカメラマンとして独立。
2005年の渡英では大学院に入学しつつ、広告を中心にヨーロッパで活動。
2012年に帰国。現在は東京を拠点に、ヨーロッパ、中国など、国内外で活動中。
ファッション、広告、建築、自動車など多岐にわたる。
躍動感あふれる作風を中心に、広告やエディトリアルなど、幅広い分野を手がける。
SATOSHI MINAKAWA
Born and raised in Tokyo.
He studied and graduated from The Art Institute of Colorado with a degree in Photography in 1995.
With his deep and growing interest in experimenting with conceptual photography, he experienced
assisting well-known photographers such as Norbert Schoerner and Stefan Ruiz.
He left Japan in 2005 to study for an MA in Photography at the London College of Fashion in
London after having already built an excellent reputation as a photographer at home.
Satoshi’s style of fashion, sports and concept photography produces much more than
a beautiful image. The visual complexity of his photography pushes the limits and creates powerful multilayered images perfect for global campaigns.
He is now based in Tokyo and travels the world bringing his unique mix of strong lighting techniques, boundless energy and conceptual thinking to each project.
